What is 4 HELP VR?
4 HELP VR uses virtual reality to place learners inside realistic training scenarios covering areas such as first aid, workplace health and safety, fire safety and environmental awareness. Exercises can be repeated, reset and observed in a controlled environment.
What does immersive training add?
Conventional training — slides, discussion, role play — is effective at conveying knowledge, but it is difficult to recreate the pressure, sensory detail and decision-making of a real situation in a classroom. Immersive VR training adds:
- A first-person, realistic environment rather than a description of one
- Repeatable, resettable scenarios for practice without waste or risk
- Practical experience of situations that would be difficult, expensive or unsafe to stage for real
- A portable setup that can travel to your training venue
- A memorable learner experience that differentiates your training
4 HELP VR can be incorporated into instructor-led training to provide immersive practical scenarios. Organisations and training providers remain responsible for ensuring that their training meets applicable UK legislation, awarding-body requirements and internal policies.
